SHANICE MALAKAI, PRODUCER
Shanice Malakai is the award winning creator and CEO of Malakai Creative. A creative producer for films, commercials, promotional productions and creative branding. In 2013, her short film Black Girls Code screened at the Cannes Film Festival, and in 2014 she was awarded and honored as an “Extraordinary Woman of Color”, live on Sonoran Living TV. In 2015 she was tapped as the “filmmakers voice” to speak on a panel for SXSW Interactive on Instant Gratification, Media and technology. In January 2016, Malakai was awarded the Horizon Award.
KATE BRYANT, PRE-PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR
Kate Bryant is a writer and filmmaker based in Queens, NY, currently pursuing an MFA in fiction at Queens College. She was a writer-in-residence at the Louis Armstrong House Museum in 2017, producing work inspired by the Louis Armstrong archives at Queens College. She has directed music videos for Lakutis, The Echo Friendly, and Kool A.D., and she wrote and directed the short film What Night Isn’t Weird, a selection at the LA Film Festival in 2011, as well as the short film Liberté, currently in consideration at festivals worldwide. She was the potbellied pig trainer on the Academy Award-nominated film Beasts of the Southern Wild.
Keitumetse Mokhonwana, DIRECTOR OF PHOTOGRAPHY
Keitumetse Mokhonwana is a Director of Photography born and raised in Johannesburg, South Africa, and is now based in the United States. Keitumetse credits her time in theatre in high school to developing her love for storytelling, thus leading her to a love for filmmaking. She is a graduate of SAE Institute Cape Town where she studied the art of film making and fell in love with being behind the camera and painting with the light. She continued to study film making upon her arrival to the United States and has since worked as a cinematographer on several different short films and music videos.
ARLYN DE LOS SANTOS, 1ST A/C + GRIP/GAFFER
Winner of U.S Department of State grant CCI 2016-17 for film and video production at Scottsdale Community College. Arlyn has been involved in the arts in the Dominican Republic, and as a teenager, she developed a passion for behind-the-scenes work. Since then, she’s been writing and producing short stories. More recently, Arlyn has developed a strong bond with cinematography and production work behind camera.

TIAGO DA SILVA, SOUND
Tiago da Silva is a professional sound engineer, location sound mixer, boom operator, sound designer, sound editor, multi-instrumentalist, composer, orchestrator, music producer, and virtual instrument programmer. Tiago has over fifteen years of composition and music performance experience, has produced over fifteen full length studio recordings, scored six films, and has worked both on location and in post on over twenty films just over the last three years.
KATIE DUNCAN, SCRIPT SUPERVISOR
Katie Duncan is an producer and writer based in Austin, Texas. She has been a part of numerous film, television, and music video projects around Austin and her hometown of Corpus Christi, Texas. She is currently a Radio-Television-Film student at the University of Texas at Austin and hopes to pursue a career in television after graduating.
CYNTHIA MUñOZ, wardrobe
Cynthia is a visual artist whose photographs are an escape from reality. Using found objects, clothing, and makeup, she transforms her body into anyone and anything she wants, with her empty home as an audience. She is influenced by fashion editorials, makeup artists on Instagram, B movies, clowns, and comedy.
